We can stay in the same mood for hours or days. But if one is in the same mood for a long time, one may have to deal with mental states like Clinical Depression, Bipolar Disorder (Mood Disorders). When you meet an old friend from school, when someone gives you a surprise, your mood is amazing. Also, when you hear some bad news, if someone gets hurt, your mood goes up. This means that no matter what happens, it can affect your behavior. Lack of mood usually leads to insufficient sleep, improper diet, excessive light bill, hunger, physical exertion, Guilt, Impact of a Movie, Small Rejections etc. There could be reasons. Additional to this Psychological Disorders, Puberty, Pregnancy, Hormonal Imbalance, Pre menstrual syndrome, Menopause, Sugar Levels etc. can cause mood swings too. Social mood is such a concept.
