Thoughts have a lot of power because when any action takes place, the thought behind it before it happens is important. When the child speaks the first word like Baba, Dada etc. That word is understood by him many days ago. That is, there is a thought before any action. The smallest thing is that I want to move my hand from one place to another .. So for that too I have to think like that first and then that is the action. This means that your thinking is very important. We speak the way we think and behave the way we do. It's all linked. So if we work on our thoughts, then our speech and our behavior can all be under our control. So what your thoughts depend on is your Belief System ... Your thoughts depend on how you grew up, how your upbringing happened, what you experienced, how you look at it and many more things. So even if the same event happens, the reactions to it are different.
Before saying that your thoughts should be positive, it is very important to be rational or rational. How to think rationally can be learned through REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy). It is normal to have different thoughts, sometimes positive and sometimes negative thoughts ... In the current situation, it is very natural to have negative thoughts, but it can be annoying to have any one thought constantly or that thought affects your speech and behavior.
A lot of times when we get stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts, I can't get out of it or I can't get out of the thought that we say ... the same thought comes all the time ... it's called Poking Thought.
Here's a little trick on how to break such thoughts. When unwanted thoughts come, sometimes positive thoughts do not come even after trying, then thoughts can be useful to break the chain of negative thoughts, then action can be useful. Such as doing any housework, doing some cleaning, doing hobbies, gardening, writing something, doing yoga, taking a bath, taking a short walk, playing a musical instrument, making a recipe etc. There are many things that can take you away from that unwanted thought. You can decide for yourself what those things should be, or if you make a list of them, it will be more useful. These are also called Stress Relieving Techniques.
